What the app writes down
Ticking Along never connects to the internet. Everything it does happens on your computer. It writes one settings file: the duration you picked, and your office hours if you set them. That file sits with the app, on your computer or on your USB stick, and you can open it and read every line of it.
This website
These pages are static files. The site sets no cookies, and your browser is never asked to send anything about you. Our server keeps a running tally of how many times each page and download is asked for, and that tally is all it keeps: no record of who asked.
If you email hello@tickingalong.com we'll have your message and your address, and we use them to write back to you, and for nothing else.
Buying a copy
Purchases are handled by Paddle, our payment partner, on their checkout page. Paddle processes your payment details under Paddle’s privacy policy and sends us your email address and what you bought, which is what we need to send your license key and honour refunds.
