On the way to 1.0

  • Office hours: it turns itself on and off on the days and times you choose. Mac and Windows both.
  • A friendlier first run. The welcome window explains what the app does, walks you through the one Mac permission, and has a button that opens the right Settings page.
  • The USB-stick workflow: your settings travel with the stick, and when you pull the stick out, the app quits.
  • A fresh look on both platforms, matching this website.

The foundations

  • The Mac menu bar app and the portable Windows app, with matching features: durations (30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, until a time you pick, or until you turn it off), a live countdown, and a status dot that's green only while it's on.
  • The nudge that keeps you Available. It moves the pointer a tiny distance and puts it back where it was, and it never clicks. An automated test checks that on every change.
